Our job was to transform Designonline.com from a generic online shopping platform into a premium brand experience.
What emerged from the project was Nordic Nest — a 360° creative concept featuring a new name, brand identity, and design world, inspired by the insight that humans, much like birds, are naturally inclined to nest. From a typography resembling twigs and a birdlike sound logo, to nationwide TV campaigns, we showed that being a devoted nester is far from shallow – in fact, it deeply affects our wellbeing.
What we did
Naming - The name Nordic Nest was born to capture the essence of Scandinavian design while tapping into the emotional idea of creating a personal nest.
Communication Concept - We created the concept “För alla som älskar att boa”, built on the emotinal hook that being a devoted nester is far from shallow – in fact, it deeply affects our wellbeing.
Brand system - We developed a completely new design system inspired by the world of birds, including a typeface resembling twigs.
Campaign & Brand Activation - From emotional brand-building films celebrating “nesters” to product films where animated birds carried the story forward, we created a universe where birds became a metaphor for every nester.
Tonality & Copywriting - We created a unique vocabulary for “nesters,” including the word ”boa” as our signature term for making a home cozy and personal.
