Region Stockholm plays a vital role in everyday life – from healthcare and public transport to culture and regional development. Yet despite its broad responsibility, the organisation was largely invisible as a sender. For many citizens, and even employees, Region Stockholm appeared as separate services rather than a coherent whole.
To strengthen clarity, trust and internal pride, Region Stockholm needed a shared identity that clarified its role and strengthened the sense of belonging. This led to Part of a Greater Whole – a perspective shift that moves between intimate human moments and the wider regional context, positioning Region Stockholm as a constant, reliable presence behind the systems that make everyday life possible.
Through strategy, design and communication, we created a clearer sender hierarchy, a refined visual identity and employer branding concept – helping Region Stockholm speak with one voice and be recognised as the unifying force behind the services people rely on every day.
What we did
Sender hierarchy – We established a clearer sender structure, enabling Region Stockholm to act as one unified brand while still accommodating a wide range of services and operations.
Brand concept and visual identity – We developed Part of a Greater Whole as a unifying concept and translated it into a refined visual identity and brand system. A digitally optimised, responsive symbol and wordmark, a custom-made multilingual typeface, a dynamic layout design system and a refreshed colour palette improve clarity, accessibility and expression across all touchpoints.
Employer branding concept – We created the employer brand concept För allt det där vi kallar Livet (For Everything We Call Life) to build internal pride, strengthen a sense of belonging, and attract future talent.
Campaign & Brand Activation - We developed a broad outdoor campaign, through a series of documentary-style snapshots, that showed how Region Stockholm enables Life itself to function—every second of every day.
Tonality & Copywriting - We created a message platform to help all departments implement the concept in their daily operations, allowing it to permeate every channel and touchpoint.
